 From time to time we are offered the opportunity to purchase knives that for one reason or another don't meet the very high standards of todays knife manufacturers.  These knives are called "Factory Seconds".  In most cases the flaw is very difficult to find.  A knife becomes a second for any number of reasons but in all cases the knives are safe to use.  The flaws are usually cosmetic and don't affect the form fit or function of the knife.  If we can identify the reason why a knife became a second it is in the description.  When even our low every day prices are too high, take a look at our Factory Seconds page for a great working knife at a great price.

• Due to the incredibly low price and the fact that we are paying for shipping we can't take returns on Factory Seconds. 
• The manufacturer will not repair the knife under warranty if it has been purchased as a second. 
• In most cases these knives do not come in the original manufacturers box. 
• Due to the very low quantity of Factory Seconds available, we will not take backorders on Factory Seconds.  
• In some cases the Factory Second is a knife that has also been discontinued by the manufacturer.
